BugMe! Stickies App Reviews

No repeat alarms and no support

I have used and loved this app for years, so I was surprised to find I cannot set repeat alarms on this version. I have tried to contact support by email, Twitter, FB and got no answer.

Visuals: Fail.

It isnt that difficult to update and implement landscape, portrait, graphics and visuals to any number of devices/screen-sizes. The fact that BugMe! Devs are either unaware of this fact, or just to lackadaisical to implement it really "bugs me"

Cool!

Easy and efficient. Great app!

Great App

Simple, easy, and efficient. Really like the additional post-it packages you can purchase, wish there were more and the option to change the colors but still love it. Costumer service is also great.

Bravo! Finally, task management that works.

BugMe! is a virtual cork board covered in sticky notes. The hook for this app is the bugging you feature. The app relentlessly bugs you until you acknowledge the work you are supposed to be doing. The hood is good but that is not why I love the app. The virtual cork board and sticky notes are the real draw here. To-do apps like any.do or Clear are good at letting you arrange to-dos, but terrible at letting you make to-dos. Look at the screen shots for these apps. The to-dos are always some simple generic task like "walk the dog, "deposit check", or "go to school". My tasks are more like, "look up the latest case law on corporate governance and send a memo to John Doe at the Acme." Try fitting that into one line on your iPhone. BugMe! gives you ample note space for nice long task descriptions. On the virtual corkboard, you can arrange tasks how you like, as you would with your real corkboard or your monitor covered in a bezel of yellow stickies. Sometimes there is no task, you just want to make a note of something for future reference. BugMe! has that covered. The incessant alarm is simply a nice feature. Apps like Clear may be fine for tech writers and students. Not everyone has complicated tasks they need to accomplish. For people who do real work, BugMe! is the app you have been looking for.

Cool idea, but not very useful yet

If you have more than 6 stickies, theres no way to scroll or see any but the most recent 6. Not very useful when theres no way to see other stickies than to delete others!

The Best

Ive looked hard and long to find a sticky note app that works like my brain thinks. It does everything the other, rather dull interfaced, sticky apps dont. I love the additional notes you can buy. For the comments that are bad, its because those users have not explored the other options available within the app. Also, every other free app has annoying ads, come on, its FREE. Bravo to the programmers for this great app!

Love it!

Indispensable! Helps me every day!

The best app

I am so organized and I found this app and its by far, my favorite. I love the bulletin board where several notes are displayed and not stacked on top of each other like post it type notes.

Top notch app

Product will not alarm you until you tap on the app, which is useless,I contacted tech support but they gave me the run around telling me it was my phone but I have since purchased a different app doing the same job and it works fine.

Clever!

Just what i need - easy, fast, useful. Nice Ap!

Stickies gone!

I used to love this app but since I updated all my stickes have disappeared. Whats the use of putting them there if they get wiped out?!? Super lame.

Great, needs synchronicity across platforms.

After finding out from another reviewer that I could re-access my supposedly missing stickies by simply tapping where the missing notes were prior to the update. And as another reviewer also said theyd like to see synchronization across iOS platforms; I too would like to see this, between my iPad 2 and my iPhone 5.

Very Handy App, Love It

I use this app as a planning tool rather than a reminder. Post-It are very helpful for organizing your thoughts or tasks. This is the first app Ive found that supports that Post-It note use. To make it perfect for that particular use, I need two things: a larger board to post to, and multiple boards for multiple projects. These might be good in-app purchase ideas (exotic note papers are ho-hum).

ADHD friendly!

Great for quickly jotting down items. Also great for jogging your memory for future action items. Replaces the notepad I used to carry around.

Fun App.

I have enjoyed this app. Helpful if you just need to jot something down to remember or for things that you want to keep. Love the colors sheets you can use.

Beautiful !

Easy to take and keep track of notes. Love how the alarm keeps reminding you until you acknowledge it. Highly polished and professionally done. Update for iPhone 5 is nice, but shouldnt notes be bigger now?

Like the app, but......

It needs to be able to sync between devices. It deserves 5 stars if that feature is added.

Great Concept

This could be a really great app, but it gets frustrating when you snooze the note and even though youve done that, it still continues to bug you, and that is bugging me! I wrote the creator or the app, but the response didnt really clarify anything. So, its a good concept, but could be better created. And I am referring to the paid version of the app.

I got this in memory of my Palm V

This app was the essential app on my Palm V back in the day. I am glad that they have ported this to the iDevices. The problem is that they have not kept up with the times. This needs iCloud sync, it needs a mac desktop component and it needs to sync with the built-in reminders. Doing things the way they did it in Palm days will not cut it. Good to see this still exists, not lets modernize it. Awesome note does much more than this and syncs via iCloud
